Do i need a referral?
Casuarina Osteo is a primary healthcare practice, therefore you do not need a referral. If you are part of a Chronic Disease Management Plan you will need a referral from your GP.
how many treatments will i need?
Depending on your condition, you may see changes in your symptoms after one or two visits. Long term or chronic conditions may require more treatment. Your Osteopath will discuss this with you during your initial consultation.
Can i claim the cost of my treatment?
We have HICAPS facilities for patients with extras cover under their Private Health Insurance. Medicare rebates are available through the Chronic Disease Management Program. A GP referral is necessary for this service, and a gap fee payment is required.
How long is my treatment?
Initial Osteopathic Consultations are 60 minutes. Return Consultations are 30 minutes. You may book an extended return consultation for 60 minutes.
What should i wear?
It is best that you wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing, ideally no denim.
